LJ - LJ Memes

So I was recently inspired and delved back into my old LiveJournal account. I haven't accessed the account since 2007 and no, I won't provide you with the link. Besides, I privatized all my old, original entries so there's not much to see. I started this blog in hopes of crafting a more mature and cohesive collection of my thoughts. My LiveJournal account dates back to 2003 and recounts my early college years including thoughts on friends, relationships, my fraternity days, and daily notes. For me, it's a cringe-inducing read. Seriously. I average 3 to 4 groans/eye rolls per entry. Apparently my vocabulary consisted of words like "off the hizzy", "pimp", and apparently a whole lot of cursing. Don't judge.

However from time to time, when I am feeling courageous enough, I'll browse through my old entries. My hopes with this "LJ" series is to share with you a few of the "greatest hits" collection from my past blogging years. Enjoy!

list ten things that make you happy, then tag five friends:

(not in any specific order)

one: a random compliment from a cute girl

two: helping children read.. it's so delightfully satisfying

three: sudden revelations/brain rushes while you're studying.. when everything suddenly clicks

four: sushi

five: when someone takes an interest in something I'm interested in.. whether it's movies, music, etc.

six: having deep one on one conversations when you really get to know another person

seven: a good nap

eight: when one of my serves actually goes in

nine: a really good stretch

ten: random texts

Author's note: What's most interesting about this entry is how it all still applies 5 years later.
